About

Pete has been serving Kansas City since 1996. He is an avid landscape photographer. Starting in the darkroom in 1992 as a high school yearbook photographer, he was immediately hooked. He pursued photography at JCCC starting in 1996 where he learned studio lighting, color darkroom skills, and honed his craft. In 1999, Pete became the digital imaging supervisor for Herff Jones yearbook company in Mission, Kansas. In that role he was responsible for implementing black and white and color workflows for their new digital prepress workflows. This further honed his aesthetic into what it has become today. Since those early days Pete has continued to evolve, at times having a commercial studio, at times working location only, using film as well as a wide variety of digital cameras and software. In addition to his pursuits in photography, Pete holds an MBA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and a BSN from Research College of Nursing.
